Designed for anything space-related: aerospace companies, astronomers, science communicators, creative studios, online communities, personal cyberspace.
★ Mission log · Interesting facts
- .space launched as part of ICANN's 2014 new gTLD rollout — one of hundreds of fresh extensions in that wave.
- Yuri Milner, the billionaire behind Breakthrough Initiatives (which funded the search for extraterrestrial life), uses several .space domains.
- Many coworking brands chose .space as a clever double meaning (physical space + cosmic space).
- It's one of the most affordable premium-feeling TLDs — $7 first-year at Rocket Domains.

.space FAQs
The most-asked questions from earthlings, answered.
Do I need to be a space company to register a .space?
Not at all. It's open globally and many use it metaphorically — "your space" rather than literally outer space.
Why is .space first-year so much cheaper than renewal?
Promotional pricing. New registrations are $7; subsequent years are $39. Many registrants extend their initial registration to 5–10 years to lock in the rate.
Is .space good for personal portfolios?
Excellent — it carries that "I'm claiming a corner of the universe" feel, perfect for creative portfolios and personal brands.
How does .space compare to .world or .earth?
All three are global/cosmic-feeling extensions. .space leans cosmic and creative; .world leans inclusive and physical-place; .earth leans environmental.
